According to the 1880 U.S. Census, Heinrich "Henry" Rambow (40), his wife, Minnie (32) and their children, Frederick (11), Betty i.e. Bertha (8), Henry (5) and Mary (2) lived in Dundee Township at this address. The census was taken before the birth of Fredareka on December 22, 1880.

Sometime in the next decade, they moved to their home farm at 7400 South Custer Road in Raisinville Township. We are not certain where their last two children, William and Wilhelmina were born in 1882 and 1886 respectively.
