Gregory Donald Heiden was born on Thursday, April 10, 1952 in Harrisville, Michigan He was the oldest child of Donald and Doris (Petee) Heiden. Don was stationed at the nearby Oscoda Air Force Base at the time.

A 1971 graduate of Monroe Catholic Central High School, Gregory worked as an electrician at the Ford Motor Monroe Stamping Plant for 35 years.

Greg passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2021 at the age of 69. He was survived by his three sons, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
