Kenneth Lee Heiden was born on June 7, 1957 as the second child of Richard Lee and Thelma (Clark) Heiden.

On January 31, 1976, he married Vickie Goschke and they had two sons.

Ken died at the age of 60 on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at his home in Shepherd, Michigan.

He worked as a boilermaker his entire adult life.

One son, Jeremiah, preceded him in death.
