William H. Milhan was born on April 6, 1885 in Michigan as the first child of Fred and Henrietta (Grey) Milhan.

His wife was named to Clara Hanson who was born in 1887.

They had three children:

  1. Victor
  2. Douglas
  3. Nona Juanita Schmid

He died in 1971 at the age of 86 and is buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Saline, Michigan. Clara passed away in 1955 at the age of 68 and is also buried at Oakwood.

Fred (50) and Henrietta (47) were living on their farm on South Custer Road with children John (25)  Wilhelmina "Minnie" (24), Anna (21), Fred Jr. (18), Helena (17), William (15), Henry (10). Other relatives on the same page included John Heiden and Bertha Burgard.

William Miller [sic] (54) and his wife, Clara (52) were living at 124 East Michigan Avenue in Saline, Michigan. Also in the home was their daughter, Nona Schmid (21) and her husband, Erwin Walter Schmid (27). William was listed as a street laborer for the government.
William (65) and Clara (62) were shown as living at 206 West Michigan in Saline, Michigan. He is listed as an animal researcher in the medical industry.

William and Clara were living in Dundee Township with their 2 children and working as a tenant on a 140 acre farm. They had 5 horses and 19 cows and a telephone.
