Margaret Jeanie (Getty) DeLong was born in April of 1923 in Blue Earth, Faribault County, Minnesota and was the daughter of David James and Arla (Dobbdal) Getty.

She was married to George Ferrell DeLong

Margaret died on February 18, 2001 at the age of 77 and is buried in Lone Oak Cemetery in Geronimo, Guadalupe County, Texas.
