William W. Hanley who was a son of Emmeline (Getty) and John Hanley was born on August 31, 1876 in Michigan.

He married Carrie Swensor on September 4, 1875 in Bellaire in Antrim County, Michigan.

William died on March 5, 1931 in Jackson in Jackson County and he is buried at the Leioni Cemetery in that town.
