William Loyal Stanley born January 30, 1912 in Boyne City, Michigan. He was the son of Sylvia Bell (Titsworth) and Fred Loyal Stanley.

In 1939, he married Evelyn Doris Holbeck and they had eight children:'

William died on January 17, 1968 at the age of 55 in Flint, Genesee County, Michigan. He is buried in the Flint Memorial Park in Mount Morris in Genesee County.

Doris who was born in Detroit on August 6, 1916, died on December 16, 1977 at the age of 61 in Flint. She is also buried in Flint Memorial Park.
