Keith Charles Stanley was born November 6, 1913, in Boyne City, Charlevoix County, Michigan. He was the son of Sylvia Bell (Titsworth) and Fred Loyal Stanley.

On February 10, 1934, he married Violet Reil.

They had three children:

  1. Donald Keith Stanley (1934-1934)
  2. Gordon Stanley
  3. Phyliss (Stanley) Bradley

Keith worked for the City of Boyne City as a fire chief, police officer and laborer.

On August 8, 1997 at the age of 83, Keith passed away at the Bortz Health Care unit in Petoskey, Michigan. He was buried at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Boyne City.
