Doris Mae Greenman was born on April 23, 1931 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was the daughter of Hazel (Converse) and Donald Greenman.

On May 11, 1946, Doris died of accidentally sustained 3rd degree burns at her home in Adrian, Michigan. She was 15 years old at the time of her death and is buried in Ridgeway Cemetery in Ridgeway Township, Lenawee County, Michigan.
