Stephen W. Hugill was born October 25, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of Ann "Ardv" (Rolph) and William Hugill.

After college, he married Kim L. Biggs on August 6, 1977 in Franklin, Ohio.

They had on daughter, Sandra.

Stephen died on July 1, 2006 in Columbus, Ohio.
