Agnes I. (Doerfel) Seely was born in March of 1864 in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Dorothea (Rehmann) and Julius Doerfel.

In the 1880 census, Agnes, her parents and siblings were living at 524 Second Street in Philadelphia. Between 1883 and 1959, she lived on a farm at 116 Chew Road in Hammonton, New Jersey.

Around 1887, she married Jonathon Seely and they had six children.

Agnes died at the age of 95 circa 1959 and she was buried in Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton. At the time, she had five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Jonathon, who was born in June of 1853 in New York, was listed as a farmer and a driver for a department store.
