  Edward
Doerfel was born around 1875 in New Jersey. He was
the son of
Dorothea (Rehmann) and Julius Doerfel.
The 1880 census shows
him living with his parents at 524 Second Street in
Philadelphia.
Around 1905, he
married Emma M. McCord in Palmyra, Burlington
County, New Jersey.

In the 1910 census,
the family was shown as living at 215 Henry Street
in Palmyra Township, Burlington County, New Jersey.
William was working in the horse collar industry. By
1920, he was working as a florist in the nursery
industry.
Edward died in 1922
at the age of 47. Emma, who was born in Belfast,
Northern Ireland around 1879, died in August of
1981. She had become a naturalized U.S. citizen
around 1930. |
