Alfred
William Reibel was born Tuesday, April 15, 1890 in
Hammonton, Atlantic County, New Jersey. He was the
son of Julia (Rehmann)
and John J. Reibel,
In the 1900
census, he, his parents and siblings were living
on Twelfth Street in Hammonton. By 1917, he was
living on Lincoln Avenue and was employed as a
laborer with West Jersey & Seashore Railroad in
Hammonton.
In 1913, he married

The 1930 census
shows him living as a boarder at a residence in
Runnemede Borough, Camden County, NJ. His
children, Alfred Lewis and Thelma were also
listed. By 1940, Alfred and his son were living
on Clements Bridge Road in Runnemede and he was
self-employed.
Mary who was born
in 1895, died in 1918 at the age of 23 and is
buried in Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.
Alfred died in
1951 at the age of 61. He is also buried in
Greenmount Cemetery.
In
some sources, he was listed as William Alfred
Riebel. Also, one source indicates that he and
Mary E. had no children. |
