Pancha Reibel was born in December of 1896 in New Jersey as the daughter of Julia (Rehmann) and John J. Reibel.

The 1910 census has her living with her parents and sibling on Twelfth Street in Hammonton, Atlantic County, New Jersey.

There is some confusion in the various sources for this person. The 1910 census shows her as the daughter of Julia and John Reibel. However, other sources indicate that Pancha was male who was living with his aunt, Minnie Weber in 1910.
