Grace (Rehmann) Werner was born on Friday, March
10, 1916 in Hammonton, Atlantic County, New
Jersey.
In the 1920
census, she was living with her parents and
sibling at 143 Maple Street in Hammonton.
She married
Charles Edgar Werner and they had three
children:

Douglas W. Werner

Stephen Werner
The 1940 census
has Alberta and her husband, Charles, living at
164 Seventh Street, East Ward, Salem, Salem
County, New Jersey.
Alberta died on
January 15, 2007 at her home in Egg Harbor City,
Atlantic County, New Jersey. She was 90 years
old at the time of death and was buried in Lower
Bank Cemetery in Lower Bank, NJ. She was
survived by one son and one daughter and had
seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Charles, who was
born on March 19, 1916 in New Jersey preceded
her in death on April 25, 1997. He was also
buried at Lower Bank Cemetery. |
