 Wilma Heiden of Bridge school became the first two-time champion of
Monroe County spellers today at the fifth annual county contest held
at Navarre field. A double winner last year when she won gold medals
in both oral and written bees, Wilma today spelled down 29 other
district champions and runners-up in the contest which was confined
to oral spelling. |
