Wayne Lee Heiden of Frostproof, Fla., passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Florida Hospital Heartland in Sebring.

He was born October 18, 1939 in Dundee, MI to the late Walter William & Edith Margaret Heiden; and he has been coming to Florida from Michigan since 2001.

He was retired from Dundee Castings.

Wayne was preceded in death by his son, Chris Heiden and a brother, Gerald Heiden.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Patricia Heiden; son, Wayne Heiden, Jr. (Donna) of Dundee, MI; sister, Patricia Massingill (Ron) of Dundee, MI; brother, Daniel Heiden (Jane) of Hillman, MI; two grandchildren, Randi Mae Heiden and Chelsea Lynn Heiden; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date in Michigan.
