Donna
Jean Klatt was born in Monroe, Michigan on June 23, 1956. She was one of
five children born to the union of
Harold August Klatt and Jeanette
Francis (Wood) Klatt. She attended grade school at Trinity Lutheran and
then Monroe High School.
Donna married Samuel Lee Moser on November 23, 1974, in Monroe. The
couple were blessed with three children. While living in Florida, she
earned her certificate as a nurse’s aide. She worked as a medical
assistant at a doctor’s office and also at the JFK Hospital.
Unfortunately, due to traumatic injury when she broke her back, she was
forced to take a medical retirement in 2002.
Donna had a passion for shopping. Whether she was hunting for a bargain
at the local mall or visiting her favorite boutiques, she had a knack
for picking out clothes and accessories that expressed her joyful
personality. In addition to her love for shopping, Donna was known for
always sporting the perfect hairstyle. Her visits to the salon were
ritualistic, as she adored getting her hair done.
Donna also had a competitive spirit and a love for games. Bingo nights
were a cherished pastime, and she rarely missed a chance to indulge in
the excitement of the game, surrounded by her friends and fellow bingo
enthusiasts. Donna eagerly anticipated card night with her family, where
laughter, friendly competition, and shared memories made these evenings
unforgettable.
For many years she received her spiritual nourishment attending the
Petersburg Lower Lake Church. Donna found strength and community in her
faith.
Among all her relationships, Donna cherished the special bond she shared
with her nephew, DJ. To DJ, Donna was more than just an aunt; she was a
pivotal figure in his life, offering guidance, love, and an endless
supply of encouragement. Their time together was filled with shared
interests and conversations that felt more like that of a mother and
son.
