Joan Kay Richey of Lansing, Michigan. Beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and devoted wife left us on Friday, December 1st, 2017 to be with her loving husband, who proceeded her in death almost a decade ago. She was 82 years young.

Joan is survived by her four boys, many, many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and friends new and old. Her sons, Neal, Dave, Mark & Scott, wanted to express their love and appreciation as follows:

"Mom, you have given so much and asked for so little in return. You never complained, but, were in fact, always thankful for everything in life even though life kept challenging you with one physical set back after another. Thank you for always being there for us, for teaching us, listening to us, helping and forgiving us, loving us, and always paving the way for us. Both you and dad were an inspiration to us all and we will work hard to reach the standard you set. It breaks our heart to lose you so suddenly, but we know you are in a better place. Thanks again for everything, both you and Dad will be missed but never forgotten."

A gathering will be held from 3:00-5:00pm Saturday, December 9th, 2017 with brief memorial service at 5:00 P.M. Saturday in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W Saginaw Hwy, Lansing, Michigan 48917.
