The man should be spelled Ervin. Also, he was born in Britton, Michigan while his parents lived with his maternal grandfather, Ervin Leonardo Getty. The funeral service was held in Mammoth, Wyoming.

IRVING C. (ROCKY) ROGGERMAN

Irving C. (Rocky) Roggerman, 73, of Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming and formerly of Farwell died suddenly Tuesday, May 17 at his home.

He was born on January 27, 1910 in Brighton, Michigan.

He was the former owner of Rocky's Bait and Party Store between Clare and Farwell.

Mr. Roggerman and his first wife Frances (who predeceased him in 1968) moved to Wyoming 20 years ago. He worked for 5 years as a park ranger in Yellowstone National Park before retiring. He attended the Farwell United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his present wife the former Alice Heyden, 2 daughters, Mrs. Janet Wright of Bay City and Mrs. Joann Richey of Lansing, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and 2 sisters all in Monroe, Michigan. He was predeceased by a daughter Charlene Ackerman in October 1982.

Memorial services were held Sunday, May 22 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Rosa officiating. Burial was in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
