Ruth L. Roggerman, age 97, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday March 13, 2019, with her family at her bedside.

Family and friends may visit from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday March 17 at Rupp Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday March 18 at 11 a.m. at Rupp Funeral Home with Chaplain John Vanacker officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeway Cemetery in Tecumseh, MI.

Born July 8, 1921, in Lenawee, MI, Ruth was the daughter of the late Lewis and Mabel Mattice. She married Ralph L. Roggerman on December 10, 1938, at St. Alphonces Church in Deerfield, MI. He passed away in 2007; just short of their 70th wedding anniversary.

Ruth was a housekeeper for IHM in Monroe for 18 years and retired in 1991. She was a longtime member at St. Michael Church of Monroe. In her spare time, Ruth enjoyed cleaning, cooking, and baking. She was a wonderful mother and loved her family.

Ruth is survived by three daughters: Kathryn (Gerald) Shock of Tecumseh, MI, Anne (James "Sonny") Williams of Monroe, and Addie (John) Treadway of Monroe; as well as 7 grandchildren, 20 great- grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, a brother, and three daughters.
