This 1894 receipt is for roofing materials which were purchased by August Heiden (left). We can only speculate on how these items were used. They could be for August's home on South Custer Road or they could be for a house that he and his son, William Carl (right) were building for someone else. We know that August and William were involved in building houses for people in the community but don't know if they worked together.
