BRIDE
SAYS VOWS IN RECENT RITES
Miss Mildred Foster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Foster,
Route 1, East Lansing, spoke her wedding vows to Howard Heiden,
son of Mr.
and Mrs. John Heiden of Monroe, in a ceremony held last
Saturday at the home of the bride's parents. Rev. Edwin White
of Grand Ledge officiated in the presence of members of the
immediate families.
The bride chose a frock of aqua
material with brown accessories and a corsage of yellow roses
for her wedding, and Miss Norma Jean Foster sister of the bride,
who was maid of honor, wore a gown of powder blue shade with a
corsage of pink roses.
Marvin
Koster of Dundee was best man.
Miss Maxine Smith of Haslett
sang, "I Love You Truly", and Miss Marion Peterson played
appropriate wedding marches. A reception followed the
ceremony. After a short wedding trip, the couple returned to
make their home on Lake Lansing road.
