  Jakob Möller, the grandfather of
Rika (Mrs August) Heiden was born in the small village of
Neukalen in Mecklenburg Schwerin, Germany. This town is only
about 26 kilometers northeast of
Groß Wokern, the home village
of August and Rika Heiden before they emigrated to America in
1873. It is about 5 or so miles from Alt Suhrkow the ancestral
home of several of the
Burmeister and
Kanseyer or
Canseyer or Kansehr
families.
