 Arlene
Jean (Fuller) Johnson was born in Monroe, Michigan on Tuesday, February
3, 1931. She was the first of the three children of
Hilda (Heiden) and
Virgil "Charlie" Fuller.
After a few years in
Elkhart, Indiana, Arlene spent most of her early
years in Battle Creek, Michigan. She graduated from Battle Creek Central
High School in 1949.
On November 24, 1956, she married Jack Lamar Johnson in Trinity Lutheran
Church in Battle Creek. They lived in Warren, Michigan, a suburb of
Detroit for 65 years before moving to Manistee, Michigan to be near
their children.
 Jack
held a PhD in chemistry and worked as a chemist for General Motors for
33 years. Arlene was a stenographer for Kellogg Corp in Battle Creek and
General Motors.
Arlene and Jack and one son and one daughter.
On Monday, November 17, 2025, Arlene passed away at the age of 94. She
was residing in Maple Ridge Manor in Manistee at the time.
Jack died on Thursday, October 12, 2023 in Warren at the age of 93. He
and Arlene are both buried at Battle Creek Memorial Park.
At the time of Arlene's death, they had 3 grandchildren and 1 great
grandchild.
