Arlene J. Johnson, age 94 of Manistee, MI, died peacefully Monday, Nov. 17, 2025 at Maple Ridge Manor in Manistee with her family by her side. She was born Feb. 3, 1931 in Monroe, MI and was the daughter of the late Virgil & Hilda (Heiden) Fuller.

She married Jack Lamar Johnson on November 24, 1956 in Battle Creek MI. He preceded her in death Oct. 12, 2023.

Arlene worked as a stenographer for the Kellog’s Corp and General Motors. With the births of her children, she chose to be a stay-at-home mom that was devoted to raising her children and residing in Warren for 65 years.

She is survived by her son Steven (Patricia) Johnson of Manistee, MI & Port Orange, FL; daughter Sheryl (Mark) Brewer of Carrollton, TX; 3 grandchildren, Justin of Carrollton, TX, Jaclyn of Pflugerville, TX and Zachary of McLean, VA; 1 great-grandchild, Clara; brother Gary (Loretta) Fuller of Free Soil, MI and sister Marilyn Glubke of Battle Creek, MI

A committal service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025 at the Battle Creek Memorial Park Chapel. She will then be interred graveside next to her husband Jack.
