Martha "Mattie" (Titsworth, Nichols) Miller was born September 21, 1893 in Britton, Michigan. She was the daughter of Alexander and Eunice (Bennett) Titsworth.

On July 6, 1912, she married Edward A. Nichols in Boyne City, Michigan and they had one child: Earl Alexander Nichols.

In 1930, she married Albert Miller.

Martha died on August 7, 1945 in Summerfield Township, Monroe County, Michigan at the age of 51.
