Allen Conrad Freudenhal was born on Sunday, October 10, 1909 in Hammonton, Atlantic County, New Jersey. His parents were Waldemar and Vermillia (Bassett) Freudenhal.

In the 1910 and 1920 census reports, he was living with his parents on Twelfth Street in Hammonton. This was the home of Allen's grandparents, George W. and Mary Freudenhal.

He married Ruth Elizabeth Frazer and they had one child, Ruth Elizabeth Freudenhal.

Allen died on February 27, 1986 in Ocean City, Cape May County, NJ. He is buried in Seaside Cemetery in Palermo, NJ.
