 Charles
Hubbard Freudenthal was born on Wednesday, June
7, 1911. He was the son of
Waldemar and Vermilia (Bassett) Freudenhal.
In the 1920
census, Charles and his siblings were listed as
living with their grandparents,
George W. and Mary (Kempker) Freudenhal. The
residence was on Twelfth Street in Hammonton,
New Jersey.
By 1930, Charles
was shown as a farm laborer living as a boarder
at Quinton Salem Road in Quinton Township, Salem
County, NJ.
Circa 1935, he
married Alberta C. Pedrick and they had one
child, Dorothy Ann Freudenhal.
The 1940 census
has Charles and his wife living on
Pendrictown-Penns Grove Road in Oldmans in Salem
County. Alberta's parents were living there
also. Charles worked delivering milk for a
retail milk company.
Charles died in
September of 1976 at the age of 65. Alberta, who
was born on October 1, 1915, died on June 10,
2005 at the age of 89. She lived in Pennsville,
NJ at the time of her death. |
