 Christian Wilhelm Rehmann was born on Thursday, May
30, 1872 in New Jersey as the son of
Heinrich
Frederick and Christina (Roller) Rehmann.
When he was 22 years old, he married 18 year old Ida
M. Scull on Tuesday, December 25, 1894 in Millville,
Cumberland County, New Jersey.
They had twelve children:

Listed as Christoph Raymond in the 1900 census, his
occupation was barber. The family was living at 123
Massachusetts Ave., North, Ward 1, Atlantic City,
Atlantic County, NJ.
In the 1910 census, the family was listed as living
on Park Avenue, Vineland Borough, Cumberland County,
New Jersey and Christian was working as a brick
mason. By 1920, they were living at 102 West Foundry
Street in Millville, NJ. In 1935, they lived at 310
West Main in the same town. The 1940 census shows
him working as a bricklayer for the W.P.A. (Works
Progress Administration) at an annual wage of
$777.00.
Christian died on July 26, 1953 in Millville and is
buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in that town. He
was 81 at the time of death. |
