  Albert Jacob Rehmann, Sr was born on Friday, October
20, 1882 in New Jersey. He was the son of
Christopher, Sr and Wilhelmina (Wolmelsdorf) Rehmann
The 1900 census has him living with his parents and
siblings on Eleventh Street, Hammonton,
Atlantic County, New Jersey. He was working as a day
laborer.
Circa 1904, he married a woman named Amelia who was
born circa 1886.

By the 1910 census, Albert was listed as a farmer on
his own farm and later served as a jitney driver
(see below). In the 1930 and 40 reports, they were
living at 143 Maple St., Hammonton, Atlantic County,
NJ. In 1940, he was listed as a truck driver for a
local bakery.
