According to the 1900 U.S. Census, Herman Heiden (1876-1957) and his wife, Reka (1880-1954), lived on Cass Street in Dundee, Michigan prior to moving north to Isabella County, Michigan in 1915.

They must have been newlyweds at the time since their marriage was on February 22, 1900. By the time they moved north, they had two children, Lewis Heiden (1901-1975) and Nellie (Heiden) Ayris (1907-1993).

The blue arrow indicates the place called Five Corners or Five Points. It is where Dixon Road crosses South Custer and Eggert Road ends at that intersection. If the Herman Heiden farm was one mile west of Five Points, it would have been on the edge of the Village of Dundee at that time. Now, it would probably be included within the village limits and covered by houses.
