Norma Jean Heiden, 85 years, of Monroe, died Tuesday in the
Mercy Memorial Hospital ICU.
Friends may call 2-8 p.m. Friday at the Capaul Funeral Home,
Ida. She will lie in state at
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church,
Ida, Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, from 10 a.m. until services at 11
a.m. Pastor Ted Kerr will officiate. Entombment will be in
Roselawn Memorial Park , LaSalle.
Born April 11, 1927, in Monroe, Norma was the daughter of
William C. and Mary (Rambow) Heiden Sr. The salutatorian for the
Dundee High School Class of 1945, she worked for the Monroe
County Abstract from 1945 until 1989. She then worked for the Hassett Title Company from 1989 until retiring in 1998.
Norma was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and had
attended Bridge School, a one-room schoolhouse in Raisinville
Township, and Sunday school at the old St. Matthew’s Lutheran
Church.
She is survived by nieces Velda Heiden, Verdell Giebel and
Mary Lou Ofermann; sisters-in-law Helen Heiden and Mary Ann
Vogel, and many other nieces and nephews.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Lester,
Carl, Leo, Arthur, and William; and sisters Edna Berns, Hilda
Fuller, Mildred Eipperle, Helen Heiden, Helma Nickel, Marie
Tommelien, and Wilma Bicking.
Memorial contributions for Norma may be made to Prince of
Peace Lutheran Church. |
