Roselawn was established in 1928 as a non-denominational perpetual care cemetery. Several members of the Heiden family are buried here.

The name of this township in Monroe County is spelled at least two different ways depending on the source. Sometimes it is shown as La Salle as on the sign of the township cemetery and in others it is LaSalle. We will use LaSalle since that is how it is spelled on the township's official website.
