Kenneth Lee Roggerman, Sr was born on Monday,  August 24, 1925 as the fifth child of Ralph Raymond and Addie (Getty) Roggerman..

He married DeEstra J. "Tess" Galvin (top right) who was born on January 17, 1926 and died March 21, 1995 in Florida.

Kenneth was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He served as a tail gunner on a bomber aircraft.

In Angola, Indiana on April 25, 1996, he married Elvie Eleanor Mannikko (right). She was born on December 20, 1937 in Ontonagon, Michigan where she died on April 28, 2018. They had no children.

On Sunday, March 26, 2017, Kenneth died in Haines City, Florida where he spent the winters. Kenneth was buried in the Florida National Cemetary in Bushnell, Sumter County, Florida.

Kenneth and Tess had one son, Kenneth Lee Roggerman, Jr. and two grandchildren.
 

 
Some sources give both Kenneth, Sr and his older brother, Ervin, the nickname "Rocky".

Ralph (42) is listed as living on a rented farm on M-50 west of Dundee. His young children, Mildred (15), Lewis B. (11) and Kenneth (4) are living with him. His daughter, Bernice (18) and her husband, James Pickens, are also living on the farm. Jim, who was born in Ohio in 1908 was shown as a packer at an iron foundry.

Kenneth, Sr. (25) and his wife De Estra "Tess" (24) were living in Lansing, Michigan. Kenneth was a trimmer on auto bodies at General Motors and Tess was a practical nursing student.
