  Elisabeth
(Rehmann) Smith was born on Monday, October 28, 1867
in New Jersey. She was the daughter of
Wilhlem and
Anna Marie (Rohm) Rehmann.
In the 1870 census,
she was living with her family in Buena Vista
Township, Atlantic County, NJ. By the 1880 report,
"Lizzie" and family were living with her mother and
step-father, George Fox at 533 Charter Street in
Philadelphia.
Around 1888, she
married Horace W. Smith who was born in January of
1865.
They had two
children:

Florence (Smith) Murray (1889- )

Ethel May Smith (1892- )
The 1900 and 1910
census reports have the Smith family living at 612
Wishart Street in Philadelphia. Horace was listed as
a "bermer" in the clothing manufacturing industry. |
