below by generation are the direct i.e. share
DNA,
descendants of the earliest Rambow we have been able to
find...so far. Nicolaus Heinrich Rambow was born in 1754 in Pohnstorf (Joerdenstorf), Germany.The
first four generations of his family were all born in Germany and only
Heinrich Rambow, Jr
made the journey to America
as far as we know. He made the trip in
1874 along with his first three children,
Friedrich,
Bertha (Burgard) and
Henry III. Everyone else from generation 5 onward
to generation 9 was born in the United States.
The family lived in
Dundee Township according to the 1880 U.S. census and
then moved to their long-term home at
7400 South Custer Road in Raisinville Township,
Monroe County, Michigan. After arriving in America, they
bore four more children;
Mary (Heiden),
Fredareka (Heiden),
William and
Wilhelmina "Minnie".
 The people listed below only represent a small sample of the total family as it exists now in the 21st century. If you have names of individuals that should be shown on the lists in these later generations, please provide the full name of the person, the decade of his or her birth and the parents' names. If they are still living their name alone will be added to the lists with
no inclusion of other specific dates or data.
