The Milhan Family is related to the Heiden Family through Wilhelmina Augusta Sophia "Minnie" (Milhan) Rambow (1847-1936) (left). She was the mother of Mary (Rambow) Heiden and Fredareka (Rambow) Heiden.

Wilhelmina's brother, Carl "Fred" Milhan (right) came to America from Germany in 1873 and settled in Raisinville Township. The Rambows came one year later and eventually settled at a farm only a mile or so away from Fred's farm.
